The band 1969 breathes new life into the songs made famous by Jimi, Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Joe Cocker, Cream and so many other stars of the psychedelic era. Seven Chicago area musicians -all veterans of Chicago's music scene-have found what was once important and true can be rekindled in spirit.
